Hello, my name is Kristi Davis, and I am honored to have joined the Lincoln County R-III team as Principal at Lincoln Elementary School in 2024. I am excited to share a little about myself and my family. I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, and reside in Lake St. Louis with my husband and two children. Our family leads an active lifestyle, as my kids, Cade and Brooklyn, play ice hockey, which keeps us constantly on the move.
I have successfully earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Lindenwood University, a Master of Arts Degree in Elementary Teaching from Southwest Baptist University, and a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Administration from Arkansas State University. In December 2022, I also completed my Doctorate Degree from Maryville University.
My career in education began in the Rockwood School District from 2008 to 2024. I started as a fifth-grade teacher at Pond Elementary School and then transitioned to Woerther Elementary in 2009, where I continued teaching fifth grade for the next 9 years. In May 2018, I proudly accepted the position of Assistant Principal at Selvidge Middle School in the Rockwood School District and continued to guide my 5th graders on to their next educational journey. I served as an Assistant Principal at Selvidge Middle School for the following six years.
It is truly a blessing to have the opportunity to join Lincoln Elementary School. I am thrilled to be part of this educational team and am committed to fostering strong relationships with all students, staff, and community members. My vision centers on promoting active engagement in the learning process and addressing the social, emotional, and academic needs of our students daily. By upholding long standing traditions and establishing new ones through teamwork, transparency, and open communication, we will cultivate an environment that nurtures stronger learners and community members.
As Principal, I will dedicate my service to promoting and fulfilling the Lincoln County R-III School District mission of "Educating students to achieve excellence through trusting relationships and superior instruction."
